Title 24 reports, city by city.

I work anywhere in California. These 28 cities have their own page because their plan-check process — the portal, the published review time, the local ordinance — is worth knowing before you submit.

Where I work

Same report everywhere, different plan check

The work is remote and the code is statewide, so nothing about my end moves when the city does — the price and the turnaround are the same in San Diego as they are in Santa Clarita. What moves is everything on the plan-check side: which portal takes the submittal, what the published first-review time actually is, whether there’s a preapproved ADU track worth putting your client on, and whether the city has adopted an energy ordinance past the state minimum. That last one has caught people out, so I wrote it down city by city.

Every page below is researched against the city’s own pages, not a template with the name swapped. If your city isn’t listed, it changes nothing about the report — send the plans anyway, I just haven’t written the local notes up yet.

Disclosure

One honest note

I’m not a licensed engineer or architect, and I don’t stamp drawings. On the CF1R I’m the documentation author — you stay the responsible designer. Nothing about your role on the job changes.

That’s on purpose. I’m not after your scope or your clients. I do one piece of the permit set — the piece that usually holds it up — and I do it fast.

Questions

Two questions this page gets

If yours isn’t here, see the full FAQ or call and ask.

Where in California do you work?

All of it. The work is remote and the code is statewide, so the city makes no difference to price or turnaround — jobs run from San Diego to the Bay Area across climate zones 4 through 10. I run the 2019, 2022 and 2025 code cycles, so an older permit still in process is fine.

How fast do I get it back?

24 to 48 hours on your first job, three business days for everything after that — a date you can put on the schedule, not an estimate. If your permit deadline is tighter than that, say so in the notes; I’ll tell you honestly whether I can hit it before you commit.

Pick your city, or skip straight to the plans.

The local notes are there if you want them. The report itself is the same either way — drop the plan set and I will confirm the price today.
